Consumer Village is a unique panel you can join that focuses more on online discussions rather than always just sending out market research surveys. They are part of Gongos Research and have been around for quite a few years. I’m not a member of this panel, but the research I’ve done indicates they are legitimate and paying.
Here are some more details:
How does Consumer Village Pay?
You are paid in “tokens.” This is pretty much like redeemable points. You can use these tokens to get Amazon gift codes. You only need 500 tokens to cash out for $5 to Amazon. Unlike other survey panels, your tokens do not expire or reset at any time.
What are the surveys like?
This is where Consumer Village is kind of different. You may get invited to participate in online discussions that earn you tokens in addition to your standard surveys that they might also send. Both of these will earn you tokens. Sometimes these are about products you use, and sometimes they are about other hot topics.
How frequent are the surveys?
Apparently this is Consumer Village’s weak point. Many people report that the surveys are too infrequent. However, you may get fairly frequent emails inviting you to participate in “dialogues.” These are actually the online discussions and they reward you in tokens for those, too, so it would benefit you to participate.
