Did you know that you can earn rewards for searching with Bing? I’ve been aware of their Bing Rewards program for a long time, but I’ve never given it a close look and signed myself up. Today, I’m going to break down for you basically how it works and share what type of rewards you can redeem for.
Note that the Bing Rewards program is currently only available to US residents.
How do you earn rewards through Bing Rewards?
Similar to sites like Swagbucks, you can earn rewards by searching on Bing and also for taking advantage of various one-time offers. You can visit your dashboard and see what offers you have available each day. These are often really easy things like just visiting a webpage.
Once you’re signed up, you’ll be able to see a little “credit” counter at the top of your screen. The more credits you have, the more things you can redeem for. If you’re earning credits through search, you can earn one credit for every two searches, up to 15 credits per day. So if you are using Bing as your primary search engine, this could add up over time.
What rewards does Bing offer?
I checked their rewards page and they have several different things. You can get gift codes to places like Amazon and Starbucks or you can enter your credits into different sweepstakes they have going on. You can also donate to charity with your credits. Some of these don’t take a lot of credits to get. Seems kind of comparable to what you need to redeem at Swagbucks.
How long does it take to get rewards after you redeem?
The Bing FAQ says it only takes about 24 hours unless your account needs a closer review for any reason. This is quicker than many similar programs send out rewards.
How do you sign up?
You can use your Facebook account to sign up or you can use a Microsoft account. If you don’t have a Microsoft account, it’s very easy to set that up.
You can go here to sign up and start using Bing Rewards. Check out your dashboard for offers and also try doing a few searches after you sign up so you can see your credits start to increase.Note: This post contains affiliate links.
