Do you spend hours searching the Internet? If you could earn money while searching the Internet, would you be interested? Then Qmee just might be something of interest to you.
What Exactly is Qmee?
Qmee has already been reviewed once a few weeks ago, but it has grown and become quite the “buzz” in the work-at-home world. It has recently changed with a few updates.
Qmee is still a nice way to earn a little extra cash. While I do mean just that—a “little extra”—it can add up quickly as you begin cashing out. What’s really nice about Qmee is that it pays you to basically search the web as you normally would. In other words, just going about your daily searches without doing anything out of the ordinary!
You can also donate the money to one of Qmee’s favorite monthly causes if you’d rather not cash out. The only big requirement to start using Qmee is to be living in the US or UK and be at least 13 years old. You will also need a PayPal account to get paid.
How Does Qmee Work?
Qmee is basically a browser extension that you add to either Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari or Opera. It allows you to download and place it on the browser’s task bar and begin getting paid for searches. Once you begin a search, Qmee’s search results will show up on the left-hand side asking you which of the search results are correct/relevant. You can click on that result and get paid between $.05 to $.15 per search engine result. Then of course, you will go to that particular search just as you would normally do.
You are not just limited to Google searches. You may also use Qmee for Amazon searches as well as other popular websites that require searching. The “green Q” will show up in the top browser task bar on the left-hand side.
The really good news is that more search results are now paying. The only problem that I hear of is that there doesn’t seem to be “any rhyme or reason” as to why one search result offers more money than the other results. Also, not all search engine results will offer to pay for the search or pay very little. But here again, many more companies are beginning to discover and utilize Qmee.
How Do You Get Paid?
You basically get paid via PayPal and can cash out fairly quickly. Almost immediately! Searches are between $.05 and $.15 per search. What’s still really nice is that there is no limit to the amount of money you have to accumulate to cash out. You could cash out with just one penny in your account if you wanted to.
How Does the Referral Program Work?
Qmee does have a referral program which you can send to your friends to sign up. The people that I know of who are making the most money are the ones who are signing up their friends. You will receive $1 each time one of your friends cashes out for the first time.
I have seen Qmee’s referral email that is used to send to your friends to sign up. My only complaint would be that the invitation states that signing up with Qmee is “by invitation only,” which it is NOT. Anyone can go to the website and download the browser extension.
Is Qmee Still Worth the Time and Effort to Sign Up and Download?
Considering that you really don’t have to do anything out of the ordinary to earn the money, it is. However, to make more money and make it faster, you almost have to sign up your friends with your affiliate link.
I think for someone who spends a lot of time doing online searching and research, this would be a good thing. I haven’t noticed that Qmee slows down the browsers, but as more searches begin paying and more companies begin joining, this may change. There may come a time when Qmee will have to offer periodic updates to its browser extension.
Sometimes the extension does become disabled and you have to go in and reinstall it. So any time you find that your searches are not loading on the left-hand side of your browser field with the amount of payment per search, you may want to check your browser.
How Do Interested Applicants Sign Up for Qmee?
Go to the Qmee website and click on the Get Qmee button and you will be prompted to install the browser extension. Just take a deep breath and get paid to do the searches that you would be doing anyway. Then open your eyes real wide and see the money in your PayPal account!
