NPD Group, now known as VIP Voice, is a popular survey panel. The original company has been in business since 1967. They’ve gone through a lot of changes over the years. But are they still worth signing up with? Read on for more details on how the panel works. I’ve seen this one advertised quite often, but I’ve personally never taken a close look until now.
Of course this is another points panel. You are paid in VIP points for every survey you complete. The exact amount will vary depending on the survey. They also have an instant win game you can get points for playing.
Using Your Points
You can use your points as sweepstakes entries in the “SweepsLand” section of their site, or to bid on prizes in the auction part of their site called “BidLand.” It states plainly on their website that your points have no real cash value and you cannot use them to exchange for prizes. This means they are not exactly like many of the points panels where you can exchange your points for gift cards and such.
Each point you receive is worth one sweepstakes entry or one auction bid. Your points will not expire as long as you are an active VIP Voice participant. If you go more than six months without taking a survey, you’ll be considered inactive.
Is VIP Voice worth it?
I can see how for a lot of people it may not be. There’s no guarantee that you’ll win a prize if you use your points to enter for something, and there’s no guarantee that you’ll win an auction if you try to bid on something. You will just have to decide if you would want to spend the time taking surveys when there is a chance your points will not get you anything. However, VIP Voice claims that thousands of people win their prizes every month, so the odds may not be terrible as far as the giveaways go.
