When researching ways to earn money at home and/or online, I often come across some things that are legit, but also a little bit “out there.”
I make a mental note to possibly review these things at a later date, but sometimes I don't get around to it. With that in mind, I created a list of some of these things that are little different that you can do to earn cash.
Good luck if you decide to go for it with any of these!
5 Crazy Ways to Make Extra Money
1 – Get Paid To Lose Weight With Healthy Wage
This is something a lot of people had no idea they could do — earn money for losing extra pounds. So if you were planning to try to lose weight anyway, you may want to check into Healthy Wage.
The way it works is pretty simple. You are essentially betting on yourself to lose weight. You put in the amount you want to lose and the timeframe you think it may take (like for example 20 pounds in six months), and then the dollar amount you want to bet.
If you are successful, you'll get back whatever you bet plus more. If for some reason you aren't successful within the time frame, Healthy Wage will let you “buy” more time.
I'd caution you that if you're going to do this, be realistic with your time frame. No matter how quickly you want to lose weight and how hard you try, sometimes your body won't cooperate the way you'd like. So if you bet, don't get too ambitious and go with something that seems very realistic.

2 – Store at My House
Do you have storage space in your house that you're not using? Store at My House will let you sign up and list out your storage space for rent to others.
If you've got a big vacant closet, spare room, or basement with room to spare, you might want to consider it.
Advertising your storage space here for others to use is free of charge. Store at My House will not list your address or other details publicly. They will find you a potential renter in your area, and then the two of you can discuss terms via their platform. Store at My House processes the payments. That's pretty much all they do.
My only concern here would be this — what are people planning to stash away at my house? Let's hope it's not something illegal and the cops come knocking! Still, it's an idea.

3 – We Go Look
You can sign up here to be a “looker” and simply go check things out for people when they don't have time or are unavailable to do it themselves.
As a looker, someone might hire you to go check out a vehicle they found for sale on Craigslist or elsewhere to decide whether or not they should buy it. Or, someone might hire you to check out a house for rent or a condo or motel they're thinking of staying at for vacation.
Basically, as the name implies, you just “go look” when others can't.
According to We Go Look's FAQ page, “Currently, Look fees typically range between $12-$30 per order, but depending on the level of complexity and time spent on site can be up to $200.”

4 – Rent Out Your Car With Turo
Just as you can rent out your storage space, you can also put your car up for rent and get paid to let people use it when you're not.
There are actually a few companies out now that let you sign up to provide this service, but most of them are centered around specific geographic areas. One of the more reputable companies you might consider checking out is Turo.
According to Turo's website, some people are earning as much as $700 per month renting out their car to others when they're not using it. Payments are made via direct deposit within three days after each trip taken by your renters.
