If you're not looking for cold hard cash and don't mind being paid in gift cards, EarningStation is a popular choice. It's another rewards site similar to Swagbucks and other sites. EarningStation is a pretty new company and has become very popular lately so I figured it was time to give them a review.
Earning at EarningStation
As usual, the first step is signing up but it's a simple process. You can make it even easier by using your Facebook to join. You'll need to confirm your email and then you're good to go.
They have a lot of different ways to earn including watching videos, signing up for offers, filling out surveys, web searches and so on. Again, not much different from other rewards sites you might have tried.
Another way to earn at EarningStation is by referring your friends to join the site with your unique referral link. If they do that, you will get a bonus of 10 percent of what they earn. Note this doesn't mean you will take away from their earnings. It's just an extra incentive added to your existing earnings based on how active your friends are on the site.
Getting Paid By EarningStation
EarningStation pays with gift cards to popular retailers like Amazon, or you can redeem for Paypal cash. This is a nice perk because many of these rewards or survey sites won't offer Paypal as an option and instead make you stick with just the gift cards.
If you are opting for the gift cards (physical ones), you have to wait 4-6 weeks for those to arrive in the mail. A faster way to get your earnings is to request virtual (emailed) gift cards or Paypal cash. From what I've read, the virtual rewards are sometimes delivered within 24 hours or less.
Note that you do need $10 in your account to qualify to cash out. However, this isn't that bad. There are many other similar sites with much higher cash out thresholds.
Eligibility For EarningStation
Is EarningStation a Scam?
No. They've been around and paying members for almost ten years now.
Most of the complaints I see about this site have to do with people not qualifying for the surveys. This is unfortunately a pretty common problem with popular and legitimate survey panels and rewards sites. You can check out our list of survey panels that won't disqualify you or pay even if you disqualify here to see options where this isn't a problem.
On the flip side, EarningStation has been around since 2011 and for the most part, it seems they are paying members. I did see a few complaints on SurveyPolice where people report not being paid, but I also see some responses from EarningStation attempting to remedy the situation, so that's always a good sign when the people behind a company actually seem to care that people are having problems.
