6 Lazy Ways To Make Money Online

Published April 19, 2018 By Bonny This post may contain affiliate links. Regardless, I only recommend sites I've researched and/or used and trust.

Here's a list of six of the best lazy ways to make money online.Okay, maybe you're not truly lazy. Maybe you're just super busy! Either way, these sites offer extra cash and rewards with very little effort on your part. Check them out!

Lazy Ways to Make Money Online

#1 – Swagbucks

Swagbucks is a rewards site that has a lot of ways to earn and many of them require some effort on your part. Things like surveys, signing up for offers, and so on. However, they do have their own search engine that you can use in place of whatever search engine you normally use and every time you search for something, you have a chance to earn SB, their form of currency.

I know I spend a lot of time searching random things day to day and if you use the Swagbucks search engine, you can get some rewards.

#2 – Drop

Drop is a shopping app that's pretty ingenious. Like some other shopping apps, you get rewards for purchasing goods from certain retailers. The reason why Drop is on this list is because it does all the work for you! Just link a card you use commonly at these stores and then go shopping. The retailers that you can choose from include very popular places like Walmart, Starbucks and McDonald's.

Drop tracks your purchase amounts and will award you with points based on how much you spent which you can then redeem for gift cards. Unlike some other shopping apps, you don't have to scan bar codes or take pictures or your receipts, sign up for certain offers or anything like that. Just go shopping!

#3 – Qmee

Qmee is a Chrome extension that will occasionally put a pane of relevant ads to the left of the screen when you search certain things on Google, Amazon and various other sites. It's easy to dismiss but if you click one of the ads, you will earn a few cents. As a result, you don't have to buy anything to earn.

A great thing about Qmee is that it pays in cash usually instantly to your PayPal account and it doesn't matter how much you have in your account. You can cash out with only a penny. If you opt for an Amazon gift card, you have to cash out in increments of $5, but it's still instant.

#4 – Paidviewpoint

If you're willing to put in a little extra effort, Paidviewpoint is a great option. It's a survey panel and it has a lot going for it if you don't want to spend a ton of time doing surveys. Most of the surveys are super short and it doesn't matter how many questions you answer because you get paid for all of them. So, there's no spending a ton of time on a survey that you get disqualified for with nothing to show for it.

Another great bonus is Paidviewpoint pays gift cards instantly and PayPal payments usually within a day or two.

#5 – Earn From Referrals

One of the best ways to earn without working too hard for it is passive income from referral programs. Check out my article about earning from referrals and which sites have the best referral programs.

#6 – Acorns

This is a new app that I'm currently trying out and I'm pretty excited about it. If you link your credit or debit cards to it, it will track your spending and round up your purchases to the nearest dollar. Then, it takes that extra change and invests it in a stock portfolio ranging from conservative to aggressive, depending on how lucky you're feeling.

You can also set it up with a funding source and have it withdraw a set amount monthly to invest. However, it charges $1 per month for management fees, but I feel like it's a very hassle free way to save some money and maybe earn a fair bit as it builds up.

And that sums it up! Please feel free to let us know in the comments if you're aware of any other “lazy” ways to earn extra money online.
