Valued Opinions Review – Paid Surveys & Product Tests

Published November 21, 2011 By Anna This post may contain affiliate links. Regardless, I only recommend sites I've researched and/or used and trust.

If you've been looking or another really good, quality survey panel to join, Valued Opinions is a great option from the research I've done!

Valued Opinions has a website that (in my opinion) is really well-laid out and easy to navigate. They also make it pretty easy to understand how their site works and how you can profit from participating there.

How much does Valued Opinions pay?

For every actual survey you take, you'll receive an award amount that falls somewhere between $1 and $5. While they don't pay in Paypal, you can use your points to redeem for gift cards. And the gift card options do include Visa gift cards, which spend just like cash.

If store cards are your thing, they do have lots of options for that as well. In addition to gift cards, you can redeem your points for merchandise, donations to charity, and sweepstakes entries.

Note that you must have at least $10 in your Valued Opinions account to redeem for anything at all.

How old do you have to be to sign up?

The minimum age here is 13, so you can sign up as long as you are at least 13 years old. If you are in the UK, you can't sign up until you are 16 years old. In Australia, you must be at least 14 to sign up.

What countries are eligible to sign up?

Valued Opinions is open to the US, UK, and Australia.

Where do you find the surveys?

If you have a survey to take, you'll get an invitation in your email, so be sure to sign up with a valid email address.

You can also log in at any time and view the surveys available to you on your dashboard.

In addition to paid surveys, Valued Opinions sometimes sends out profile surveys that you receive no money for. These are just so they can get to know you better and help match you to future surveys. These are optional and you don't have to take them if you don't want to.

That said, I've read that it's usually a good idea to take the profile surveys because you'll get in on better surveys if they know exactly what to match you to based on  your demographic.

How long does it take to get the gift cards after you redeem for them?

If your gift card is an actual, physical gift card, it could take a month for it to come in the mail.

If you asked for a digital gift code, it will probably come almost instantly through your email address.

Valued Opinions Product Testing

Another way to benefit from being a member at Valued Opinions is via product testing. Sometimes they work with companies to get new products out to people who might like them. You get to keep the products that you receive in most cases and may receive payment as well.

We have a list of other sites that offer product testing if you're interested in finding more of them.
