A promising new survey panel we discovered recently — One Opinion — is currently looking for new panelists. This one looks very promising because it's an “instant pay” panel — our favorite kind. In our One Opinion review below, you'll learn everything you need to know to help you decide to join. We explain who is eligible for the panel, how you get paid, how long it takes to get paid, and much more.
Is One Opinion Legit?
Let's get this out of the way first. Yes, One Opinion is a completely legitimate survey panel. They don't ask you for any money to join. And in case you weren't aware, a company that's asking you to pay to join a survey panel is definitely trying to rip you off. Survey panels should always be free to join, no exceptions.
We have done the research on this panel, and it's overwhelmingly clear that they are paying survey participants.
Who Can Join One Opinion?
You are eligible to become a part of One Opinion provided you are 13 years of age or older and living in one of the following countries – United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Spain, Germany, Italy, France, Netherlands and Australia.
Note that if you are 13 – 17 years old, you will have to get parental consent first before you sign up.
Also, there can be more than just one member of a household signed up, so be sure to get your parents, spouse, brothers, sisters, etc. on board as well if they're interested in earning extra money online.
How Does One Opinion Work?
Like most survey panels, after you register, you just sit back and wait to see if you get survey invitations. These invitations will come via email, so be sure to check it regularly. You can also log in to the site at your convenience and check to see if invitations are waiting on you.
You may or may not qualify for the surveys you are invited to participate in. This can be frustrating to “screen out” of a survey you've gotten invited to, but unlike other survey panels, One Opinion will pay you for the time you took to answer the screener questions anyway. You'll get points for every single survey, even if you don't qualify to do the whole thing.
If you do qualify for the survey, you'll get the total amount of points promised for completing the whole thing.
As you remain active, your points from taking surveys will build up. Once you get to 25,000 points, you will be able to redeem your points.
What Can You Redeem Your Points For Specifically?
One Opinion pays in Paypal cash, Visa gift cards (basically cash also), and also Amazon gift cards.
How Long Does It Take One Opinion To Send Your Rewards?
It depends on whether you want virtual rewards or physical rewards. Above, we mentioned that this is an “instant pay” panel. What this means is that if you opt for the virtual reward, they will email your Visa money, Amazon code, or Paypal cash instantly. You don't have to wait at all.
However, if you opt for a physical reward (currently this option is only available for Amazon and Visa), you'll have to wait a few weeks for your rewards to arrive in your mail box.
Does One Opinion Offer Product Tests?
Yes, One Opinion is a survey panel that may occasionally invite you to do product testing. This is always a lot of fun no matter who you do it for because not only do you get to test and keep a product, you also get paid.
One Opinion Reviews – What Are People Saying?
One Opinion has been around since 2011, so that's plenty of time for most people to have tried it out and formed an opinion. We did some digging around the internet, and it looks like so far, One Opinion has a good reputation.
Most people say they get surveys frequently and that reaching the payout amount to redeem is fairly easy. And of course, people do like the fast pay. Another thing people like is that One Opinion gives you points for every survey, even if you screen out of it.
As far as complaints go, some people report that they suddenly stop getting surveys for no apparent reason. This can be frustrating, especially if you are close to the amount you need to cash out. I did see this complaint more than once, but again, the praises for the company were more numerous than the complaints.
There are many, many panels with lots of complaints. The fact that One Opinion has more praises makes me believe it's a good panel overall. I would recommend joining if you like fast pay and the process of answering surveys.
One Opinion Fine Print
It's important to note that if you don't participate for 90 days, your account becomes inactive. One Opinion will also remove you from the system if you go more than 180 days without taking a survey.
I'm not sure how they handle this if they aren't sending you surveys for that length of time. Maybe this only happens if you're getting surveys but stop answering them.
How To Contact One Opinion And Sign Up
If you think you're ready to join One Opinion and add it to your hopefully long list of survey panels to earn extra cash from, just visit their website here and go through the sign-up process. This is simple because they have a bot on board named “Emily” that walks you right through the sign-up process.
We Recommend Joining More Than One Panel
Don't just sign up for One Opinion and not try out other panels. If you're serious about making a decent amount of extra cash doing paid surveys, sign up for many panels.
We have a good list of other survey panels you may want to consider joining to keep those survey invitations coming through regularly. More surveys means more extra cash.
Good luck to you! Please let us know how you feel about One Opinion if you've already tried it out.

One Opinion actually takes 3 – 4 days to email you gift codes. Once you reach the amount to request your virtual gift code, you redeem your points and put in an order. They take 3 – 4 days to fill that order and email you your gift code.
how do i sign up as i click on “visit their website here and go through the sign-up process.” and it takes me to a casino site
Hmm, that’s weird. Try this link – https://www.oneopinion.com
I signed up and completed several surveys (not just the pre-qualifying step). They said I had met their requirements, but I never got any of the promised rewards. This seems so common among survey brokers. It happened with the last company I signed up for as well, and the broker himself said it was happening a lot, so he investigated — but never got back to me. You often put hours and hours of your time into this work, only to never get paid — and you’ve often given them personal information. It feels more and more like many survey brokers (or their clients) are using this as a scam platform, and I feel really vulnerable now. I’ve given up using this as a means to earn cash.
