The Pink Panel Review – Test Out Beauty Products!

Published January 21, 2020 By Anna This post may contain affiliate links. Regardless, I only recommend sites I've researched and/or used and trust.

We've been talking a lot about various product testing panels lately. With these types of sites in mind, The Pink Panel is yet another one that I wanted to write about. They have a very large presence on Facebook and that is where I actually learned about them.

If you like beauty products, this is definitely a panel you'll want to sign up for!

For me personally, I prefer panels like PINCHme because they send beauty products along with other types of items. But if you like beauty items, this is a really good panel to be part of.

What kinds of products do you test for The Pink Panel?

As mentioned above, The Pink Panel primarily focuses on beauty products. So if you are invited to test anything, it will mostly like be makeup or skincare products.

Is this a legitimate panel?

Yes, tons of people are signed up. You can see on Facebook that they have over 180,000 fans as of August 2019. They are legit, and many people report that they were invited to test things.

What do people say about The Pink Panel?

They have the option for people to leave them reviews on their Facebook page. As of August 2019, their rating is 4.9 out of 5 stars.

It's important to note, however, that many of these reviews appear to have been left by people hoping to get selected for product tests. I did see some reviews from people who had received products in the past, and then there is one at the top from a very disgruntled former member who said she never got anything.

What sort of incentives do you get for testing?

The Pink Panel will let you keep the product they send you to test out. In addition to that, they will also reward you with a $25 – $100+ incentive in gift cards or beauty products as thanks for participating in the test.

In addition to products, you also receive monthly sweepstakes entries for more beauty products

As a member, are testing opportunities guaranteed?

No, they are not. There is competition for these tests. What usually happens is you fill out a “screener” to see if you'd be a fit for an upcoming test. Sometimes you will be, and sometimes you won't be.

The beauty company who is going through The Pink Panel to get the test results is typically looking for certain demographics. So don't get discouraged if you aren't selected right away, or if it takes a while to get selected. Testing opportunities are not guaranteed.

How do you sign up for The Pink Panel?

Unlike some of the other product testing sites we've talked about here, The Pink Panel operates primarily through their Facebook page. So if you want to sign up, you'll have to use Facebook.

Once you're on their Facebook page, “like” the page and then find the link that says “Join.” You'll get a lengthy form to fill out that asks you basic questions like your name, address, email, and of course what sorts of beauty products you use along with any skin concerns you have. Questions like that help them to better understand what sort of products to send to you.

Be sure to check your email again after you've joined to confirm your subscription. Once you've done that, you'll get all the updates on potential product testing opportunities. And as follower of their Facebook page, you should also begin to see testing opportunities appear in your newsfeed.

While You're Waiting To Get Selected …

We recommend you also sign up for PINCHme and Daily Goodie Box. These are other product testing panels similar to The Pink Panel that also offer regular product testing opportunities.

Are you a member of The Pink Panel already?

Please comment below and let us know how you like it, what you've tested (if you're allowed to share that), and of course how long it took you to get invited to do your first test after joining.

You can only do one product test with The Pink Panel every six months. I don’t know why. I did one a few months ago, I liked the product. I a gift e-certificate froma beauty company when i finished. Your rewad comes from whatever beauty company they choose. You get surveys from time to time.

Hi — I am one of the Co-Founders of the PinkPanel. We are so excited to see that you have written about us. As of today, September 13th, 2016, we are 85k+ members strong. We work with top brands and small independent brands to bring products to market and garner the opinions of beauty loving women! We run many panels each month and as you mentioned, the incentives for participation range from $25 all the way up to $500. These incentives come in the form of e-gift cards to Amazon.com, e-gift cards for specific beauty brands and also in the form of product. The incentive amount is revealed prior to the start of the trial. As for why we only let women test a product every six months, well…we want to make sure that everyone on our panel has a fair shot at participating and, we need to make sure that from test to test, a panelist’s experience isn’t impacted by a great product they may have tried from one of our other brands just days or weeks ago.

I am still patiently waiting to get a chance to test out a product through them. I have been waiting for about 2 years now and still have not been picked. I have been filling out all of the surveys that I get in my email.

Just be patient and keep filling out all of the surveys that you are sent. You’re bound to be chosen! I have been responding to surveys for several years, but have only been chosen once – to test and review a Dr. Perricone eye cream.

      This is an excellent opportunity!

I have been selected twice in the past 4 years. I love the Pink Panel but wish I could do more tests. They are great to work with and it is fun trying different products. Both times I received an incentive. Testing is easy and they provide easy to understand instructions.

I did 2 & never got my card 😛 🙁 couple years ago) Unless the GREATLY improved to program, I an not a fan.. Several times I took surveys & they said I was approved . Surprise….. Never got a product. A few times – in seconds after being approved, I was told that I cold not get the sample. Also tried to stay active but I have only got maybe 1 offer /survey a year for products I use & would like to try new version, but never god a single one

Just getting worse over the years & the reviews are mostly crap.
