Qmee App Review – The Browser Extension That Pays

Published February 18, 2020 By Leisa This post may contain affiliate links. Regardless, I only recommend sites I've researched and/or used and trust.

The Qmee app is a browser extension that will allows you to win money for various searches on popular websites. It's easy to cash out and earn.Do you spend hours searching the Internet? If you could earn money while searching the Internet, would you be interested? Then Qmee just might be something to try.

What Exactly is the Qmee App?

Qmee has grown and become quite the “buzz” in the extra cash world. It's a browser extension that offers a nice way to earn a little extra cash. While I do mean just that—a “little extra”—it can add up quickly as you begin cashing out.

The best thing about Qmee is that it pays you to basically search the web as you normally would. In other words, just going about your daily searches without doing anything out of the ordinary!

You can also donate the money to one of Qmee’s favorite monthly causes if you’d rather not cash out.

To qualify to join, you must live in the US or UK and 18 years old. Qmee does permit teens to sign up as well, but you must get parental consent.

Qmee pays via Paypal, so you'll have to sign up for that if you don't already have it.

How Do Qmee Searches Work?

To start, you add the Qmee browser extension to either Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari or Opera. This allows you to download and place it on the browser’s task bar and begin getting paid for searches.

Once you begin a search, Qmee’s search results will show up on the left-hand side asking you which of the search results are correct/relevant. You can click on that result and get paid between $.05 to $.15 per search engine result. Then of course, you will go to that particular search just as you would normally do.

You are not just limited to Google searches. Qmee also works for Amazon searches as well as other popular websites that require searching.

The really good news is that more search results are now paying. The only problem that I hear of is that there doesn’t seem to be “any rhyme or reason” as to why one search result offers more money than the other results.

Also, not all search engine results will offer to pay for your searches at all. But again, many more companies are beginning to discover and use Qmee.

What Are Some Qmee Search Words That Pay?

Contrary to what you may believe, there is no way to know for sure what to type in to trigger a “win” from Qmee. They don't want anyone gaming the system in that way. And you can bet that Qmee will change their winning search terms up occasionally so that people don't get wise to specific ones and then try to use those over and over.

How Do You Get Paid?

As mentioned above, payments are made via Paypal. And unlike other sites, there is no cashout minimum to reach with Qmee. The company allows you to cash out with as little as one penny in your account if you'd like to do so.

Qmee also allows you to request Amazon codes if you'd prefer that.

How Does the Referral Program Work?

Qmee does have a referral program so you can earn when your friends sign up using your link. The people that I know of who are making the most money are the ones who are signing up their friends. Qmee pays $1 for every friend who signs up under you, so this could add up if you have a lot of friends who are interested.

We have a big list of ways to earn extra cash from referrals if you are looking for more sites with lucrative referral programs.

Is Qmee Worth the Time and Effort to Sign Up and Download?

Considering that you really don’t have to do anything out of the ordinary to earn the money, I think Qmee is worth it.

If you're someone who uses the web a lot to search and do research, Qmee could also pay off more for you than it might for other people.

I haven’t noticed that Qmee slows down my browser as some other users have mentioned, but as more searches begin paying and more companies begin joining, this may change.

Sometimes the extension does become disabled and you have to go in and reinstall it. So any time you find that your searches are not loading on the left-hand side of your browser field with the amount of payment per search, you may want to check your browser.

How Do Interested Applicants Sign Up for Qmee?

Go to the Qmee website and click on the Get Qmee button to start installing the browser extension. Good luck, and please let us know how it's going for you if you've tried it!

I notice that most of your replies are two to three years old. I found Qmee late last year (2018). You can still get “points” for clicking on the side-bar pop-ups. But now in 2019 Qmee offers surveys in addition to their search rewards Like most surveys, they all are looking for certain demographic’s; however, they ask survey-takers to alert Qmee users to advise them of anything suspicious, i.e., asking for additional personal info, or the survey takes longer than it should, etc.

It does pay in cash to be transferred to a PayPal account.

Personally, I like Qmee. I believe they are very reputable.
