Today, we have a SurveySavvy review for you! With so many survey panels paying in redeemable points, it's nice to know other still pay cash. SurveySavvy is one such panel. The panel has been around for a long time — since 1999 — much longer than most other panels I've reviewed. They are operated by Luth Research, a global research company.
SurveySavvy Review – How You Get Paid
SurveySavvy will credit your account with the amount the survey you took is worth if you qualify for it and complete it. Once you have earned at least $1, you can request a payment.
Payments are made via mailed check. Currently that is the only method of pay Survey Savvy uses — there's no Paypal or Amazon option.
Frequency of Surveys
One of the biggest complaints most people have when they sign up to take surveys from various panels is lack of surveys. SurveySavvy makes no guarantees regarding how many surveys you'll get each month. It will just depend on your demographic information and what groups of people they need responses from.
Some months you may get very few surveys and other months you may see a little more.
Regardless of how many you get, survey panels are not meant to replace your income, so definitely just look at this opportunity as extra money.
If you have any friends or family members who might benefit from being part of the panel, be sure to invite them. SurveySavvy pays you incentives when the people you refer complete surveys and also when the people they refer complete surveys.
Money from referrals adds up over time as an extra bonus on top of pay for completed surveys.
Who Can Register?
SurveySavvy is open to the US, Canada, and many other countries worldwide.
However, your geographic location will have an impact on how many survey invitations you receive.
Survey Savvy has a very popular side program called SurveySavvy Connect that they started in 2009 for panelists to earn even more.
Note that SavvyConnect is optional and no one is required to use it. Many people don't want to because they don't want to install anything on their computers.
Here is what SurveySavvy says about their Connect program:
SavvyConnect® is an easy to use desktop application that unobtrusively includes you in behavioral market research while you browse the Internet. When you install the software client, you help our clients better understand online behavior and can receive supplementary paid surveys for remaining active. Incentives for participating in SavvyConnect® continue to evolve as we develop the program.
This is a unique opportunity where we pay you guaranteed monthly incentives – up to $15 USD per month ($5 per device type) for US members, or up to £15 GBP per month (£5 per device type) for UK members simply for remaining active in the SavvyConnect community!
So, if you're OK, with connecting your devices to SurveySavvy so they can monitor your browsing habits for market research purposes, this is a great way to earn some extra.
Feedback on SurveySavvy
Many people have respect for Survey Savvy because they are one of the few panels left out there that hasn't switched over to redeemable points.
I've used Survey Savvy. They paid me.
This is not an instant-pay panel because they mail you a check, but it will come.
Most complaints are from people not getting enough surveys. There are also some who don't want to be bothered about installing SurveySavvy Connect.
