Instant Cash Sweepstakes is no longer active. However, the company still operates another survey panel you can join called Paid Viewpoint. They are legit and paying.
One of my new favorite things to do for extra cash online is win money instantly — and no, unfortunately I'm not talking about big money. The amount I earn from Instant Cash Sweepstakes is basically pocket change, but it still adds up and takes very little time to mess with. That's why I do it — easy money is easy money.
If you saw a dime lying on the ground, would you pick it up or leave it there? I bet most of you would pick it up, and in my opinion answering the short polls presented on Instant Cash Sweepstakes is in a way doing just that. No, you don't win a dime every time. You might win less and you might more, but either way, it's worth it.
Currently there are no cash prizes available at ICS if you're outside the US. However, their sister site, Paid Viewpoint, does offer cash to people worldwide for answering survey questions.
How does Instant Cash Sweepstakes work?
Basically, you just create an account and start answering short polls. They're usually pretty general and many of them are user-created. You might be asked your favorite color, where you like to vacation, what you like to eat — really easy stuff.
After every set of three questions you answer, you'll get tickets, coins, and occasionally small change. You only get to do four or five sets of three questions at a time before the site will tell you that you're “frying your brain” and to come back later. This means you can't take any more questions until you've waited a couple of hours. Then you'll have access to the polls — and the prizes — once again.
What are tickets and coins?
In addition to winning small change (almost) every time you answer the polls, you also have the chance to win $2 every four hours and $50 every 24 hours. The tickets are accumulated as you answer the questions, and they are automatically entered into the daily $50 drawing.
You can use your coins to enter the $2 drawing every four hours, but only if you want to. The coins must be entered into the $2 drawing manually by you — it doesn't happen automatically like the with the tickets. The more coins and tickets you have, the better your chances of winning the drawings.
How does getting paid work?
Instant Cash Sweepstakes pays you with Paypal. You can request your funds at any time once you've accumulated at least $2 in your account. You'll get your money pretty fast after you ask for it. The site says it could take up to 72 hours for them to pay you after you request your money, but I won the $2 drawing once and received my money very quickly. I think it was actually on the same day I asked for it.
Does Instant Cash Sweepstakes have a referral program?
Yes! In addition to being able to win money instantly yourself, you can also earn money when you refer friends to sign up and they win. So if your friend signs up using the referral link that you give her and she happens to win eight cents instantly, you'll also get eight cents because you referred her to the site.
If your friend gets lucky and wins the $50 or $2 prize, you'll also get $50 or $2. And the best part is that there is no cap on how much you can earn from your friends. You'll earn as much as they do for as long as you stay a member of the site.
About Video Surveys
You can earn more money if you're asked to become a Pro user on Instant Cash Sweepstakes. Being a Pro user means that you'll have to film yourself answering survey questions and then upload the video to their site. Instead of getting small change, you could get a couple of bucks for each survey you answer in this manner.
You don't have to become a Pro user if you're invited and if it seems like too much trouble (it did to me) — you can just keep answering the short polls for small change.
I've been paid by Instant Cash Sweepstakes:
I get payments from them usually a few times per month. I've also won the daily prize a couple of times since I've been a member. Below is a payment proof I have where the $50 prize was part of my earnings:
